I am a firm believer in Becky’s revolutionary approach to scrapbooking, Project Life! This time saving, easy approach to scrapbooking is right up my alley since keeping things simple is what I love! Recording memories is definitely a priority for me, but not at the expense of making memories and that’s where Project Life comes in! Project Life helps to simplify the memory keeping process and allow you more time to just enjoy life!

My oldest daughter Emily and I are really excited to start working on a Project Life album together and can’t wait to share a few images from our album over the coming weeks! We chose the Clementine Edition core kit, the Black Signature Binder along with a variety of fun Photo Pocket Pages to help us get started!

Whether you’re a long-time Project Lifer or you’re just now hearing about Project Life, you will love learning about the guilt-free philosophy behind the Project Life system of memory-keeping in Becky’s upcoming class Project Real Life from Big Picture Classes.

“Cultivate a good life and record it.” Becky Higgins

This idea is at the heart of everything Becky Higgins does with her blog, her products and in her real life. Come join Becky Higgins for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend some time with her during the last quarter of 2012. As Becky goes about preparing for the holidays, organizing around her home and documenting her family’s story along the way, she’ll be sharing ideas to inspire you, tips to motivate you, and real-life suggestions on how to cultivate the life you want.

Whether you’re a long-time Project Lifer or you’re just now hearing about Project Life, you will love learning about the guilt-free philosophy behind this system of memory-keeping. While Becky will give you plenty to think about and do during the 12 weeks of this workshop, she firmly believes that there isn’t a person that exists who “does it all” — and it should be the last thing that we expect from ourselves.

To learn more about Becky’s upcoming workshop, or to register go here. Class starts October 4th!

I love, love, love pumpkin pie, and pretty much anything pumpkin. It has become somewhat of a joke at my house the hunt for pumpkin anything at the store: pop-tarts, coffee creamer, milk (yes there is pumpkin milk), cookies, pound cake, ice cream, donuts, muffins…should I go on?

My favorite fall dessert is definitely pumpkin pie, or pretty much anything pumpkin. It has become somewhat of a joke at our house, hunting for anything pumpkin at the store: bread, muffins, pound cake, coffee creamer, ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, cookies, even pop-tarts and milk (yes there is pumpkin milk!)

As fall sets in I’m in LOVE with fruits reminiscent of summer. Anything cobbler: Blackberry, Nectarine, Peach, Apple… All dotted with a scoop of vanilla icecream! Mmmmm

Every fall I bake my mom’s pumpkin bread recipe. I’ve done this every year since I can remember. And it always has to be served warm with loads of butter melted on top…unhealthy, but so worth it! :)

My favorite fall treat is pumpkin banana bread. It’s the only way I get my boys to eat a veggie and a fruit and I love it!! Of course, it has to be coupled with some warm tea for me! :) THank you for the giveaway!

I hope this counts, because it’s got enough sugar to be a dessert. :) I just had the new Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks, and it was a-ma-zing. I didn’t have high hopes for it, and now I’m a little nervous for my $!!

As my grandmother has many berry bushes that are beginning to get ripe with harvestable fruit, we would always gather together to help her gather a whole bunch of fresh berries. We would then use these berries to bake a bunch of fresh pies. These pies would be distributed out to families having a need of a pick me up, short of 3. We would gather around after all the work is done and share the pies with ice cream. That has become one of my most favorite fall desserts ever! And yes, it is on my list of stories to scrap.

Pean pie but only one recipe will do. The recipe in the older version of The Joy of Cooking and I like to halve the amount of pecans and chop them in small pieces. Also homemade crust is important and I use the recipe on Foodnetwork.com where you never touch it with your hands. Otherwise I don’t like pecan pie! :) THanks for the chance to win!!
