Chocolate Coconut Cookie Bars

Use store-bought shortcuts to make these Chocolate Coconut Cookie Bars. It combines brownies, chocolate chip cookies, coconuts and pecans to make a quick, semi-homemade treat!
Ingredients
  • 2 tubes (16.5 ounces each) Pillsbury refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
  • ¾ cup unsweetened flaked coconut, divided
  • 1 package fudge brownie mix (8-inch square pan size)
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray.
  3. Press the chocolate chip cookie dough into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  4. Sprinkle with half of the coconut. Press the coconut firmly into the dough.
  5. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package directions.
  6. Spread the brownie batter carefully over the coconut.
  7. Sprinkle with the remaining coconut, chocolate chips and pecans.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until the middle of the brownies are cooked through.
  9. Allow the brownies to cool, then cut into 15 squares.
  10. Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
