Ok. Who else is going to be watching this? After seeing the official trailer today my curiosity is certainly peaked. I’m uncertain if it can ever live up to the original but I can’t wait to watch and see!
This adaptation of the original L.M. Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables is an eight-episode series based on the first book in the series, simply titled Anne.

Watching the trailer brought back so many memories of reading the Anne of Green Gables books as a young girl. I read every single one including the prequel. Don’t get me started on the movies! We own them all and just might need to have an Anne of Green Gables movie marathon before the latest rendition debuts on Netflix May 12!

I don’t have Netflix and I only slightly remember Anne of Green Gables, but man do I need to get it and watch this!! Between that and Fuller House (still haven’t seen) I would definitely get my money’s worth!

I’ve been watching the new Anne Series on CBC. It’s very, very good. This series doesn’t sugar coat things, its more gritty. I’ve cried at least once during each episode lol! This girl is totally Anne in every way. Glad a whole new generation is being introduced to Anne.
