oh dear….

did it again. What, has it been about two years since I last posted? Oh, no. No. Only 2 weeks. 2 weeks is all!? That’s not thhhhhhhaaaaaaattttttt long! 😉

Wish I could say we’ve been off on some exotic vacation…but alas, this is as exotic as it gets around here. Our own little island oasis…

Recipe for 2 FULL HOURS OF ENTERTAINMENT for children ages 3 and under. (Did you hear that??? 2 FULL hours!!)

take one sunny day
add 1 kiddie pool
2 water guns from the local dollar store
top it all off with

popsicles

It was heaven. Our deck is covered too so we don’t get the wind back there that this area of the province is so famous for. It was perfect. I sat out there reading the latest CK, snapping pictures. Carson was having way too much fun with that water gun! Bouncing around making little shooting noises! Looked a little like this (blurry picture cause he was on the move, but too funny not to keep!)

That child. I’m telling ya. Keeps me on my toes. It’s a good thing he’s so cute! 😉

So that’s what we did today. Lot’s of fun outside.

These past couple weeks it’s been a lot of laundry, a long weekend in Montana. YAY! I got to go to Target!! Saw this darling patio set there that I want…need to order the backyard though first I think.

You have to know that we don’t have Target here in Canada, so this was big for me. Fun, fun stuff. I’ve also been busy painting my work table/bench-thing (whatever you want to call it) and I finally have it all finished. Just need to tidy it up and take a couple pictures. Will share tommorow probably. I’ve been cleaning out our basement this week too, which wasn’t even fully unpacked yet. Getting ready to have a BIG garage sale next weekend. Also getting ready for a photography class that I’ll be teaching on saturday for a group of ladies at our church. Got a few enlargements done to display. Definately one of these:

This is what Emily has been up to these days…

She wasn’t too keen on soccer at first but she has started to enjoy it a lot. Only two more games left for the year.

And that’s about all for now. Will leave you with this page I did a few days ago. Seems like all the lemonade I’ve been drinking and all this beautiful spring weather has gone to my brain!
