…of this gal. I’m always inspired by her scrapbook pages and was so excited to see this cute page she shared yesterday. I’m a big fan of Moon, and just as big a fan of summary pages/albums! When I saw this page of hers it reminded me of a little album I did a while ago highlighting Carson’s first year and got me thinking of all the other summary-style albums/pages I could be creating.
I just love looking at photos of my kids over the course of a year, month by month, seeing how they have grown. Changes that you don’t really see because they are so gradual, become so clear in photographs. You can just watch them transform a month at a time. While it’s amazing, it is always a little sad for me, to see how fast they really do grow. And every mother has said it before me, but it is so true. They grow up way too fast!
Here is the little accordion album I made for Carson:
*sigh*
How did my baby turn into such a little boy so quickly?
So, have you got some old photos you don’t really have a home for? Or just feel like doing a quick mini album? Pull out some of those old family portraits, pictures of your kids each year at the lake, pictures of yourself through highschool (uhh…I’m a little scared to go there…anyone else brave enough?), pictures of you and your husband each year on your anniversary. Gather them up and see what you can create – summary-style!
🙂
Happy scrapping!

Rebecca, that accordion album is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen–although everything you do is beautiful and you already know that I’m a huge fan of yours! I’m totally inspired now to do something like that for my little guy. Thank you! Elisha

I love mini albums Rebecca! My kids are 11 and 14 and I would give anything to go back and get really good shots of them, but I have to make due with what I have, and often mini books are the perfect solution! Love yours!
