Add to that a photoshoot with a family of seven, a whole lot of yardwork and a huge deadline to meet by tuesday and it was time for me to have a little computer/blog/scrapbook break for a few days. I’ve been sleeping in a little, spending time with the kids and just not thinking scrapbooking for a bit. Now I’m back, feeling refreshed. Ready to get back to work on a few more projects and enjoy the nice weather we’ve been having! So I’ll catch ya up a little on what’s been happening around here.
Easter was great. We traveled to my Grandma’s house on Saturday and joined the WHOLE family (on my dad’s side) for Easter dinner. Lot’s of people (I think about 40 including kids)and lot’s of yummy food. And LOT’S of wind. So that meant not too many pictures. Did manage to sit the kids down with Great Grandma for this one though.
My kids are only now coming down off their sugar high from the weekend. Ick!! Carson has now added the words ‘candy’ and ‘treat’ to his ever expanding vocabulary. (NOT a good thing!)
On Saturday morning before we left I had a photoshoot with the Livingstone family. Great family. Cute, cute kids!! Check out a few of my favs from the morning here.
For the past couple of days the whole family has been outside helping (I use the word ‘helping’ fairly loosely there)get our lawn (I don’t know what to call it before it has vegetation – our dirt pile. Our mud pit?? I don’t know?) ready to plant grass. Leveling out the dirt. Picking rocks. Planting a couple trees. Tonight we’re hoping to actually plant the grass. Very exciting. I know.
And that there is the weekend and mon – wednesday in a nutshell. Oh, we did pack a little picnic and went to the park yesterday and we played on the swings. A LOT!
