I haven’t done a SINGLE bit of baking this past week. None. Told you it came in spurts. ๐
But I have been scrapbooking! ๐
I did this page last night for my friend Melissa who just had a darling little baby boy, Luke. (Congrats again Melissa!) I used some of the new American Crafts paper and rubons. (Love, love, love ’em!) I did one for her that is blank – so she can add her own photo, but then I liked it so much I decided to do one for myself for Carson’s album. So here is Carson boy…so sweet at 4 months old. Ya. He couldn’t move then.
Those were some good times. ๐
So I posted that page on 2peas and in the amount of time it took me to do that (which wasn’t very long) Carson found a jar of vaseline in the bathroom (I always keep that bathroom door closed dangit! The one day….) and smeared it all over himself. 3/4 of the jar all through his hair, all over his clothes, all over my table. It was a fun thing to do I guess?? Well, scrapbooker that I am I snapped a few pictures before I had a little cry.
I don’t know if I’m ever gonna get this stuff out of his hair?? I’ve given him two baths today and he’s still a major greaseball. Yuck.
Since I know that you will be going through banana muffin withdrawals once you have this new post to look at I thought I would end off with a little “Ode to muffins” a la Emily. She told me this little nursery rhyme the other day and I had a good laugh:
Little Miss Muffin
sat on a Tuffin
eating her turds away
along came a spider
and sat down beside her
and frightened Miss Muffin away.
PS.
Amy, I still owe you a tag and I’ll be getting to that. I promise! ๐
PPS
Just in case you think that I have the rudest little three year old around – she meant ‘curds’ just can’t say her C’s very well. ๐

I’ve got the fix for vaseline in your son’s hair – cornstarch! Our daughter (now 3) put vaseline in her hair a couple times when she was 2. Someone told us about cornstarch, and it helps soak up the vaseline so you can wash it out. Good luck!

Love the pictures of you little guy, they are SO cute, and that little mischevious girn is priceless. I’m sure you weren’t as amused as we are by the story though. Thanks for sharing! ๐
