this week’s simple thing:
Seeing how excited Carson was to ride his bike to school for the very first time definitely put a smile on my face this week. I snapped a few photos of him heading off in the morning with his sister and none of them were anything to write home about. I was in hurry, mostly because I was out on the driveway in my housecoat and slippers and it was c-c-c-cold…..but I’m glad I took a moment to capture this shot. I know it will bring back memories for both of them years down the road. 🙂

My grandson walk to school on his own for the first time, the other day. They grow up too fast.
This will be wonderful to look back on.

I love this. How exciting for him! And sadly, I can relate. We’ve lived in England for 6 months without a car and I have been too scared to get a bike – you know, that whole “wrong side of the road” thing. But recently I bought a bike and my first spin around the block was.so.EXCITING! So, hooray for Carson, from another new biker out there! Thanks for putting on this club every week. I so look forward to it…and I look forward to The Month in Photos even more! So nice to reflect on the month and I can’t wait to see them all at the end of the year! Hugs!

Great capture Rebecca! We’ve recently started letting our 9 year old walk home from school (my dad meets her at the park) and she feels like such a big kid:)

Awww…how sweet. Those “first” pictures are so much fun to have!
Sharon Dawn says
It is a perfect capture…he was focused on his new independence, not the camera…..it shows the neighborhood he rode in, his sister guiding, and the coolness of the morning. A memory to keep!
