There are so many reasons that I look forward to
{simple things sunday}
each week. The reminder to take notice of the simplest of moments, the excuse to pull out my camera and capture the everyday and especially for the chance to see all of your beautiful photos! Simple things Sunday just wouldn’t be the same without the lovely people who link up each week! Thank you so much for being so willing to stop in and share a tiny piece of your life with all of us!
Simple things Sunday holds a special place in my heart and its been such a joy to share this weekly tradition with all of you. 🙂
What {simple things sunday} means to you:
Yay, for celebrating the everyday! I have been through the same process for 43 sundays now. I sit and go through my photos from the past week and choose one that represents something that meant more to me than anything else or a photo that captures what has made me happy, brought me comfort or stillness. Thank you so much for the challenge that has now become a ritual!
The Simple Things Challenge has really caused me to “stop in my tracks” and see the beauty in the every day. Life is so hectic, sometimes, and the serene, simple moments get drowned out in the clutter of living. But, in the end, it really is those sweet, simple moments that matter most. I absolutely LOVE the challenge, and being inspired by the simple things that others see in their day-to-day lives. It’s wonderful! I think one of my favorite “simple things” photos was one taken by my husband…just one of those “fleeting” moments that are over before they’ve begun, yet say so much. I stopped in my tracks when I went through our vacation photos and saw the moment between my daughter and me captured so perfectly. I can see so much in her face, in her eyes…It won’t be long until she isn’t a child anymore, looking up at me with wonder, excitement, joy, and love. It was one of those moments I’m glad we could push “pause” on and just capture so I can enjoy it over and over again!
Throughout the week, many ordinary things become background noise, but on the weekend, it’s fun to take it slow, absorb the ordinary, and find beauty in all the simplicity.
I have to be honest, I am new to the Simple Things Sunday challenge, but I fell in love with the idea instantly!
I really wouldn’t change anything about it. I like that it’s ‘simple.’
I have just recently started linking up with the simple things and I love it! Any opportunity to be reminded how special the little things are is great.

Simple Things Sunday has encouraged me to take more pictures again, whether it be with my big camera or with my iPhone. I love that it encourages more natural shots and less ‘set up’ photography.
