We enjoyed a special little treat this week….waffles with strawberries & whipping cream for breakfast!! Ya. I can still taste them! Strawberries are so expensive here so this is only the second time I’ve bought them. It’s funny what a big deal a few little strawberries was around here. 🙂

This looks so yummy! I have not seen any strawberries since being on our island and I miss them so much. We are used to eating them all summer long. You are so right when you say the smallest things can bring so much happiness. I am also impressed you have a waffle maker!

We used to eat them all summer too Megan! We ordered the waffle maker from a costco type store on St.Maarten and they shipped it here to us. Best purchase EVER! We love our wafffle maker! 🙂 I hope you can find some strawberries somewhere! :)Here they only occasionally get them in on the boat on wednesday and if you don’t snatch them up right away they’re gone.
