friday craft day – hearts on a stick

Adding hand cut hearts to skewer sticks is exactly how
 simple this Valentine’s craft is.
Easy, I know…but that’s what makes this the perfect craft to do with the kids.
My mom brought me a few sheets of scrapbook paper back when her & my dad were here for a visit and I can’t even tell you how happy it made me. :)  I dug into my meager stash to cut out these little hearts, taped them to these skewers and threw them in an old pop bottle for display.

Add a blank heart to the back so you can include a handwritten note and the kids can give out these ‘hearts-on-a-stick’ to their friends. Try adding your hearts to pencils, straws, or sticks gathered from outside for a different take on this project.
