So I sat down yesterday and played around with this fun set of letter stamps and some of the new Stampin Up! designer series paper and I have to tell ya….it was a lot of fun!
I’ve always had a little bit of a fear of stamps and despite the large assortment of them I seem to have collected I’ve just never been able to bring myself to use them much. I don’t know if its my slightly obsessive need for straight lines or the fact that I’m just not a get-your-hands-dirty-while-scrapbooking kind of girl but they’ve sat largely unused in my scrap space for some time.
That is until yesterday when I threw caution to the wind and pulled out the ink and went wild. 😉 I forgot about getting the letters in a perfectly straight line, got ink on my fingers and just had fun with it!
Sound like fun? Why not give it a try? Pull out that set of stamps you’ve just never gotten around to using and use em! Don’t have stamps? Well I’ve got good news for ya. Stampin Up! is having a sale until the end of May so you could always pick yourself up a set (or two)!

You did a great job lining up those letters! I was a bit phobic about that until I discovered the Stamp-a-ma-jig (available through Stampin Up or Michael’s). Check out U-Tube for great video tutorials.
