Thank you for all your thoughts on my last post. Looks like I’m just going to have to tough this out and get used to these compression socks. I’m honestly trying to keep my feet up as much as I can but it’s easier said than done….especially with an Emily and a Carson running around. 🙂
So today was one of the nicest days we’ve had in a while AND get this….it was slightly overcast so we seized the day! I grabbed my trusty socks, packed a few snacks and we headed out the door on a little photo scavenger hunt.
Today we were on the hunt for colors!
And did we ever find them! We searched all over in a neighboring town for whatever colors we could find. We found a pink house, a blue wall, a yellow door and more. We were trying so hard to find something purple but had no such luck.
The kids had SO much fun. Carson was even into it and Carson into having his picture taken is no small miracle so I took full advantage of his good mood. I got some great photos of the kids and they loved it! Win win don’t you think!?
We all had so much fun I’m already thinking up ideas for our next photo scavenger hunt!

I love the color. A photo scavenger hunt is a wonderful way to spend time with your kids doing what you love and they get to have fun too. Can’t wait to try it myself, haven’t been able to get my 3 girls to cooperate with the picture taking so this might help. Thanks!

Sorry about the vein issue, but hang in there. Before you know it, it will be over and you’ll have a sweet baby instead.

What a great idea!! I totally want to do that–did you ask permission to use these colorful places as backdrops, or just go for it? 🙂 Thanks for sharing, and good luck with the painful veins–I’m so sorry!!

You are so cute, what a fun idea. The pictures are darling of course. Your poor veins, I’m stressed about stretch marks. I’m 6 days overdue and I swear they are coming.
