Can I just tell you guys how excited I am to get started on this Project Life journey!? I am SO unbelievably excited! Oh my gosh!! Is anyone else as stoked as I am? It feels like I’ve been out of the scrapbooking loop for THE longest time and I’m feeling inspired and oh so ready to start recording memories in 2013!

Being the Project Life newbie that I am and not having done much in the way of scrapbooking for a few years, I have a little bit of catching up to do, but I’m ready to get ‘er done. I’m still in the process of organizing photos and planning out some of my 2013 projects. I can’t wait to share a few behind the scenes peeks at how I’ll be approaching our family memory keeping in 2013 as I get things ready.

In the meantime, I just couldn’t resist playing with a few goodies from one of the new Baby Edition core kits! I created this little mini album using 3X4 cards and I’m loving how it came together. I still have to add some journaling, but I have the framework all laid out to record some precious memories from my youngest daughters first few days of life.

The album has a similar set up to my DIY Pocket Travel Journal, with photos and/or journaling spots on the back + front of each page. All pages are stacked together and kept secure with a binder clip.
As mentioned, I used one of the new Baby Edition core kits {neutral} and I added a few splashes of turquoise with paper from Teresa Collins Designs Tell Your Story line. A couple random cards did come from the Clementine Edition core kit as well.

I included pages to record the usual birth stats, my thoughts on meeting my daughter for the first time and thanks to some helpful journaling prompt cards I’ll be able to include many other details in this little album.
I look forward to getting started on Alivia’s official baby album and will also be recording some of our memories from life on the island using the Olive Edition Core kit this year. Be sure to check out the other Creative Team members blogs for even more PL inspiration!

I found your blog through pinterest and I think I’m gonna stick around! I love your holiday banners, they are so cute, I just need to find an old book that I can cut up!
I have been eyeballing that exact kit for probably a month now but I think seeing this post just sealed the deal!! It is so beautiful!! I used to scrapbook like crazy, but then we got a digital camera…isn’t that always the case??? I did get an easy to use digital scrapbooking program and used it a little here and there but I am in love with the project life kits and I am excited to get going with it!!

I print my 12x12s out through Persnickety Prints’ online site (they also have a physical store in Utah, I believe). Great quality & they work closely with Project Lifers…even offering 3×4 photograpic or cardstock prints to fit Project Life pockets!
