it pours around here! And I’m not just talking literally – though it has been raining a lot here the past few days. I’m talking about all the stuff I have to get done this week. Doesn’t it always seem like you can go a week or two with not a whole lot going on and then wham….everything has to happen all at once. I’ve been working in photoshop like a crazy woman trying to edit various photo sessions and two weddings and need to finish up a couple of scrapbook projects this week. Emily has preschool snack tommorow and a preschool swim party to go to on thursday (ya, that’s what I really want to do right now is be seen in a swimsuit!) and I’ve got a maternity session tommorow morning with a woman who is expecting twins any day now.
Phew. But as crazy as it can get sometimes….when all the hard work is done there’s always a reason to smile! Love these photos from a recent session I had with Talia and her little family. Her girls are the cutest, with such sweet, funny little personalities to boot!
I’ve also been having fun playing around in photoshop these days with some new borders I got. I just love how this photo looks aged this way. I’ve been doing this to all my favorite photos lately…going a little too crazy with it actually.
You probably notice how I posted my photos a little differnet today as well…I’m always changing things around, that’s why I can never decide on a specific logo for my business – which is one of the things I’d really like to do before I come back after maternity leave. That and possibly get a website up and running. But that will be a while in coming….gotta have a baby first. 🙂 Anyway, what do you think? I was out shopping with my sister this weekend and saw this cute packaging that was my inspiration.
Well, that’s about it for now. Need to get a bunch done before I have to run Emily to ballet class.

Aaaaahhh! I love them, Rebecca! I’m very impressed that you managed to get some cute shots amidst all the crying. Haha!! I love the one of Graham and I ’cause of the fact that the girls were screaming their heads off in the background. So funny. I love how you added the brown logo, looks awesome. Thank you so much!!!
Talia:)

That is sooo classy and timeless. Perfect. (the brown logo thingy) and you can just change the colour of the background to suit yourself but keep the rest the same. Likin’ it a lot. Simple is what it is.

Hi Rebecca. I lurk on your blog a little and love your photos. These are just beautiful. I love the colours in them. I love the way you have done your logo, and from a design point of view it’s fantastic. From a photographers point of view, I personally would worry a little about the safety of the photos. It would be easy for someone to cut it off? If it’s only going on photos you’ve already sold, no probs. Hope I’m not over stepping the mark here, just trying to give you a different side to the feedback. It may not be an issue for you.
Once again, beautiful pics. Thanks for keeping us all inspired and wowed 🙂

I like the brown header on the photos in this post better than the green and light blue on the current post. You don’t even know me, but that is my opinion. You said you were looking for a header for your pics that you liked…and I love the brown one.
I love your blog and can’t wait for your new book. As a mother of 3, I NEED your book. You inspire me everyday. Thanks Rebecca
