Simple Christmas {day 10}
I’m doubling up on posts today because we’re busy getting ready for Randal’s parents to come for a visit (we are SO excited to see them and show them around the island!) and I want to get a few things crossed off my list before they arrive. Hope you enjoy making this cute and SUPER easy holiday craft with your kiddos.
TP Christmas Trees
All you need to create your own TP Christmas trees are:
-some toilet paper rolls
-green and yellow construction paper
-glue, stapler, gluedots or tape
-markers, glitter, sequins, pom poms…whatever you
want to decorate your trees with
To put your Christmas trees together:
-Cut your toilet paper roll for the trunk to the size you’d want
-you can cover your toilet paper roll with brown construction paper if you want, we chose to leave ours as is
-form a cone out of green construction paper for the tree and using a couple of gluedots attach to the toilet paper roll
-decorate your tree with your markers, pompoms, glittler, sequins, etc.
-place a star on the top of your tree and that’s it
Super easy, and all of my kids (ages 8, 6 and 3) had a lot of fun making these!
Enjoy.

how did you make the cones? I am having a really hard time with this. They are either coming out way too small or not looking right. Totally frustrated.

Hi Rachel,
We traced a plate, cut out the circle and cut a slit in it to the center of the circle then formed the cone. These instructions might be helpful…
