Birthday Parties, BBQ Ribs & Scrapbook Supplies

It was so fun to enjoy 3 of my most favorite things over the past few days. Carson’s party turned out so good. He LOVED his tool bench. He’s seriously been playing with it non-stop since he opened the thing. YAY! I picked a good one! He was ALL about the cake too. No being shy about it-he dug in there with both hands and was just covered in blue icing.

It was fun to have all the family over to our new house – for the first time! I felt like a real grown-up hosting a meal & everything. We had BBQ ribs/rice/brocolli with cheese sauce & it was yumm-ee! BBQ ribs are my fav. meal I think! I got hooked while we were living in Dallas & we drove out to the Fort Worth stockyards one day with friends & ate at Risky’s BBQ. They’ve got THE YUMMIEST all-you-can-eat beef ribs. I was pregnant with Emily when we went the first time & I ate more than everyone else at the table – even more than my husband – and he’s a pretty big guy! I keep telling Randal that he’s going to need to fly me back to Dallas to visit sometime JUST so we can go get ourselves some of those ribs. MMMMmmmmm. My mouth is watering. So the birthday party…the ribs… and to top it all off I got a box of cute, cute American Crafts stuff this morning in the mail -some of their new albums, some ribbon & stickers! Can’t wait to get my scrap on! Hope ya’ll had a great weekend. Lata.
