How is it that almost three weeks have gotten away on me again?! AH! I’ve had plenty to share….just can never seem to get around to it. So sorry about that. I’ve got my to do list handy and just a second here, let me write this down for next week….
“Be a better blogger!!!”
In the past few weeks what have I been doing? Well let me sum it up real fast:
-had a wedding to shoot
-house stuff to finalize (new house stuff, we’re almost ready to get started!)
-not feeling well the past week and a half has really left me drained
-signed Emily up for Kindergarten – can’t believe it! can NOT believe it
-saw my first little peak of what my book is starting to look like – so exciting!
-have work to do on a few Simple assignments
-actually read a book, I haven’t read a book in so long and it was nice! I read My Sister’s Keeper, Jodi Picoult – Oh my goodness someone should have told me it involved lot’s of tears. I cried almost the whole way through.
-then there was the usual: laundry, meals, preschool carpool, clean the bathrooms…you know
Other than that I’ve basically been doing a whole lot of NOTHING. Blissful, wonderful, beautiful nothing. Just needed to go into hibernation for a little while I think after the busy-ness of the past few months with the book, my trip, a couple of weddings. I just needed to do absolutely nothing for a while. And you know what, it felt so good.
But I’m back now. Refreshed and ready to blog my little heart out.

I loved My SIster’s Keeper too. I would have to rate that as my favorite and it has held the spot for about two years. She is a great author. You may want to try the Tenth Circle next.

I am a Jodi Picoult fan too – having read several of her books. My Sister’s Keeper is quite the tear-jerker! I have just ordered her new book from the book club. Can’t wait to get it!
