I seriously love everything about this shot – do you have a remote trigger? That’d be super helpful!

Beautiful! How do you get it to focus with the self timer? I have tried several times to click, run to get in the frame and then it comes out blurry. Gah.

I’ve used my self-timer quite a bit, but I can never achieve the angles you get. More practice! 🙂 You’re inspiring!

have never used the self timer, a tripod, or a remote — I need to! This picture is wonderful and I should get into a shot with my kids more often.

@lesley
Lesley…what I did was had my daughter sit down in the spot where we’d be for the photo, composed the shot, locked the focus on her (press your shutter down halfway til it beeps) then pressed it all the way to start the timer then ran like a mad woman to get in the shot myself. It took a few tries & provided some entertainment for the neighbors I’m sure! 😉
