Here are a few of my favorite things this friday…
One of the best purchases we made before coming to the island were these Keen Shoes that we got for the kids. I seriously can’t say enough good things about them. My kids are so rough on shoes (maybe mine are the only ones?) but these shoes have already stood up so well through the summer on camping trips, hiking and general everyday wear and tear. Not to mention the salt water, the continual moisture and the rough terrain here on the island.

I’ve been following along with this blog closely since we arrived here.
There is no ward/branch on the island so with special permission from our area Mission President (of the Peurto Rico San Juan Mission) we’ve been holding small church meetings in our home with a handful of other families. I’ve found Sheena’s blog to be a great help with Primary!
I also love these FHE lesson ideas that following along with the weekly primary themes for the whole year! Such a great resource.

My husband was the first in our family to buy Keens. He now has three pair! (summer, fall/winter & dressy). I have two and my daughter just outgrew her first pair but I’m sure will have more to come. They’re terrific!
