I’m sitting here at my desk plugging in numbers, writing cheques, sorting through reciepts. Not my idea of fun by any means. I do photography and scrapbooking and watercolor painting – I do not do numbers – at all. I’m feeling a little lost here, but I’m learning.
Getting ready to submit our taxes this year and also learning all the things I need to know about running our own business all by ourselves. Randal’s dad retires on wednesday – such a big day for them and a big day for us. We have shared an office space with him up to this point, shared all the expenses and Randal’s mom has been taking care of most of the office accounting. But now that will fall 100% to me. Randal is a Chiropractor and so it’s not a huge business by any means, but I’m feeling a little stressed about all the changes we have going on right now. But also very excited. Excited to make this business ours and run it how we have envisioned and do this on our own. Excited to start building this house, excited for so many things.

2007 is looking to be just as crazy for us as 2006 was and THAT is why I’ve got myself booked for a 1 hour massage tommorow afternoon! And I’m going to enoy every last QUIET moment of it!

Enjoy your massage! I was in your place one year ago…scary, but exciting, and so, so worth it!

Rebecca I did not know that Randal is a chiropractor! My dh is also a chiropractor!
What a small world!
I started working in my husband’s office in Sept. but haven’t taken over the book work (yet).
I do the billing and entering checks etc….which could be very different here than it is in Canada.

Good for you, Rebecca! Enjoy that massage. Good luck with your family’s business…you are good for helping Randall out…Graham’s been trying to get me to do his books/accounting for 3 years and I always say no…it’s totally scary to me! How exciting that you’re building a new home!
