Simple as That

Making Everyday Beautiful

it didn’t work!

Friday, October 5, 2007

Well. Here I am. Only two days overdue (as Randal puts it). Still pregnant. Still only experiencing the occasional braxton hicks. Not much happening at all really.

Deciding on my own due date of the 15th did NOT work at all! Man! I thought I was so smart! I was still all ready for baby to arrive on the predicted Oct. 3rd and so now….we just wait I guess. Funny how a pregnancy that has seemed to fly by so quickly up to this point now seems to be going SO SLOW.

Ok looking on the bright side (look on the bright side!!) Looks like I’ve got some extra time to prepare, I can get in some more packing before we move at the end of the month. More time to spend with just my TWO kiddos. I had no plans made for these last couple of weeks just in case so I’ve got a bit of extra time on my hands – which is rare. I could scrapbook, I could read a book and catch up on photos I need to edit…who knows. Do a little more shopping…..

😉

Wanna see what else I found?

This little shop has some darling blankets and things. I especially LOVE this one:

these guys have some adorable little baby bows and headsbands.

And I tried to find a picture of them but couldn’t…but my SIL got me the cutest little knit hat and maryjane style booties from Target last week. They didn’t have them online but the Amy Coe baby stuff they have is adorable! Ahhhh. How I wish we had Target here!

Well, that’s it for now. I’ll keep you posted on baby, but like I said. Not much happening so I’m sure Baby Girl Cooper won’t be making her debut for a little while yet.

Have a great weekend everyone and Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians.

Ah ha, I agree with Monica. Now that you’ve said nothing is going to happen … I’ll bet Baby Girl Cooper makes her debut before this time tomorrow!

I’ve been there a few times – my babies seem to like it inside better 🙂 A friend liked to remind me that they are quieter and less smelly INSIDE – little consolation in my opinion. Hang in there – sounds like you’ve got a fantastic attitude!

That blanket is absolutely gorgeous! Is it a baby blanket or a full-size quilt? Thanks for sharing your finds!

My sister had her baby the day after thanksgiving last year. Maybe it was the turkey??? Better have a second helping! Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!

Good luck girl! I’m sure that she will come any moment now! I hope that all goes well! And, I’ve loved all the links of fun baby things you’ve shared – I’ve got many saved…although I’m gonna have to pass on the headbands (bummer – cause they are sooo cute!). Hugs!

Oh, I feel for you on the overdue front! It seems like by baby #3, you wouldn’t have to wait past your due date 🙂

Enjoy your last few nights without a newborn!

Yikes! No Target – for me, that would be pure torture! I sometimes contemplate having my mail forwarded to my local Target…

Good luck when the time comes for Baby #3 to make a grand entrance – hope all goes well!
