not a good day today.

I planned a big old blog post for today and I’m just not going to be able to do it.

We were over at the house tonight and Buddy (our little yorkie) ran under the trailer as Randal was backing up (he has such a bad habit of doing this when we’re pulling in or out of the driveway – he gets so close to the vehicle and we’ve barely missed him many times!) I screamed and before I could even get Randal’s attention Buddy was right under the wheel. He yelped a little and was up walking again right afterwards but you can tell he’s so sore.

We’re just hoping our sweet boy is going to be ok. He’s like my first baby and I just don’t know what I’d do without him.

I’ll be blogging again later, but between this and all the other things going on right now….I’m just going to have to take a break for a while.

  5. So sorry to hear that! It’s unbelievable how much these little guys mean to us. We lost our dog about 3 years ago – hit by a speeding car right in front of my two little girls. It was a great opportunity to give the whole “plan of salvation” talk, but it was heartbreaking. It was like losing one of our kids! Maybe it was us who needed the talk. Hope he’s okay.

  11. Rebecca – I am brand new to your blog (I heard about you through Becky Higgins’ blog), I just bought your book and I can’t wait to read it! Anyway, my prayers are with all of you at the difficult time. Our 3 month old Yorkie recently endured some head trauma when a room divider fell. It is a miracle that she is alive, but she is doing well. She was in intensive care for about a week and she is showing progress with each day. I know how dear our pets are to us, so know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
