I always love to capture the facial expression as my children open their gifts. I also want to capture more of a family shot…my husband reading the first Christmas story from the Bible to our children is very important to me. Plus a few simple moments that truly capture my families personality.

I honestly think it will be a long time before they can come again for Christmas. So I want to have lots of photos to remember this year.

I’m hoping to get some pictures of them opening presents where the lighting is good and they aren’t so blurry. I’m so disappointed with last year’s so I’m practicing before the “big day”. My kids faces are so expressive and I want to capture that look to remind me why I go to the trouble to shop for them.

I would love this book. My husband is a photographer so he takes great pictures, but I can use all the help I can get.

My mother-in-law always cooks a real Christmas feast. It smells so good in her kitchen all day. She works so hard to make everything beautiful and tasty. And then it’s gone in a flash. This year I hope to capture the fruits of her labors before they’re all gone.

I hope to capture that look of wonder on my little girls’ faces as they sit around the Christmas tree, on Christmas Eve, having our annual hot chocolate/sing along/story-time. My own mama started it nearly 40 years ago and we <3 it. Now that my own mama is gone, it also helps my own children remember her, which means the world to me! Thanks so much for the chance to win.
