Hello everyone! We’re waving hello from sunny Arizona and are so excited to welcome you to our little corner of the world on this next stop on the Playful Learning World Tour!
We’re temporary Arizona transplants – we hail from Alberta, Canada – but we’ve had a lot of fun exploring our new home thanks to the Playful Learning Backyard Science eLesson!
This eLesson was so much fun for my four kids ages 11, 8, 5 and 3. I paired up each of my older kids with the younger two and we started with the cute, bite-size eLesson videos which my kids really loved watching!
Next, we headed outside with clipboards, binoculars and magnifying glasses and went for a walk around our neighbourhood. Using the fabulous printables that go along with the eLesson the kids were able to take the lead and investigate the plants, animals, sounds + colors around us.
One of the kids favorite activities was finding and collecting colors in nature. We had a lot of fun with the backyard science eCourse, it’s the second eLesson we’ve done with Playful Learning and we hope to enjoy many more! 🙂
Mariah Bruehl of Playful Learning is so generously offering a free eLesson to readers. The kids and I have done the Power of Putups eLesson and it was so great, I highly recommend doing it as a family! Use the discount code WORLDPEACE during the registration for a 100% discount on the Power of Putups eLesson.

Thanks for the information on Playful Learning. I hadn’t heard of them before.
It is turning to fall so it might be hard to find the colors in the color wheel.
