SIMPLE THINGS SUNDAY No. 109
This week has been all about the holiday traditions – old and new. It’s our very first time year for elf on the shelf and little Harvey seems to be making himself right at home. 😉 I’m so excited about this new Christmas tradition in our family and the kids are just eating it up! We also kicked off December 1st with a North Pole breakfast. Such yummy fun with aebleskiver sprinkled with ‘snow’+ candy canes {bananas and strawberries} + hot chocolate. We started our book countdown advent today using many of the books from this list. I’m so excited to read these books with the kids by the Christmas tree each night. We also hung up our little snowflake Christmas countdown and the first activity was to go ice skating as a family. We’ve had lots of Christmas fun this week and can’t wait to continue making these special family memories throughout the month!

We haven’t really started getting into Christmas yet this year. But your post on facebook about æbleskiver yesterday got me a bit in the spirit. We do live in Denmark, and Christmas started a couple of days ago haha.

We have an elf for the first time this year as well, and the boys are really enjoying it!
We also do a Christmas book advent and a fun advent where we fill in Santa’s beard. So much fun for the kiddos!
