on getting sharper photos!
Now onto this weeks party…
SIMPLE THINGS SUNDAY No. 114
I haven’t gotten the big camera out much this week because we’ve had some sick kids around here. I’ll be so happy to say goodbye to the sickies, but I’ll admit, I did enjoy the extra snuggles while they lasted. This image is such terrible quality, but I had to have my oldest daughter snap a quick photo of this moment. I can’t remember the last time Alivia fell asleep like this. She turned three this past week and I’ve been pretty emotional about my baby growing up on me….which made this moment just that much sweeter.
Now it’s your turn. What simple things are you celebrating this week?
If you’re new to Simple as That I’d love for you join us in this weekly tradition. Scroll down to the bottom of this post where you can find all the details on how to share your photos with us. We’ll be taking a short break from our simple things special guest series while our friends in the US celebrate thanksgiving.

Such a sweet photo! I remember the feeling ~ a sort of sadness and bluish feeling ~ when our older son started at school and our younger son were about to start at the kindergarten a month later, it felt like they’d grown older overnight … Their world and circumstances were getting bigger! Mom’s heart contains so much love and emotions – soft and tough love, but it’s such a blessing … once a mom, always a mom!

I’m with you. I hate the sickies, but I do LOVE the cuddles they elicit! I hope everyone is feeling better in your home.

Is there anything sweeter than a child peacefully sleeping in her mother’s arms? I love this. And it takes me back to years long ago when my own child slept it my arms. Thanks for sharing this lovely image.

Hi Rebecca. Really sorry for your sickies – hope they will get well soon. This is my very first time I take part in the simple things sunday linkparty. I really like the idea and let me say, your blog is by far my favourite one. I’m reading through all your travel, crafting and photography posts at the moment and I adore your beautiful pictures!
My post for the linkparty is written in german, I hope that’s okay, I have a translator available right underneath my header image :)!
Greetings from Germany and all the best for the upcoming week and your lovely but sick kids 🙂
