Speaking of baby bracelets…I just made the tiniest pink one the other day for our newest little niece. Randal’s sister had a baby girl on friday at 10:15am. They named her Tessa Kay Anderson. All went well and they are now at home, enjoying their sweetheart (after two boys they were hoping for a girl.) So, SO excited for them! She is an absolute doll. I’m equally as excited to be taking newborn pictures for them…so stay tuned. I hope to head over to her house sometime this week to do those.
Father’s day (that would be yesterday!) was a fun day. We packed up the kids after church and drove up to my parents house for dinner to surprise Dad. I sure do love my dad!
I spent many an hour riding in the combine with him when I was young. Just talking. Playing eye spy. Singing songs together. Way Down Upon the Suwannee River (I always thought it was swan-ee river!) was a classic. Although, come to think of it, I’m pretty sure dad only knew the first line. ‘Way down upon the swan-ee river. Far, far away’ – sung with as much twang as one human could possibly muster.
The kids sure do love their Bampa too! (as Carson calls him) He takes them for rides on the quad. Gives them candy. What’s not to love?!
I had to laugh when I remembered this picture I’d taken of my mom with the kids last year – Carson’s still got to have his hands in his mouth! 🙂
Well. It’s monday again and that means laundry is calling. So I must be going. Will post again….when I can.
