Rediscovering this little quote the other day was the perfect reminder amidst all the dishes and laundry and organizing that’s been going on around here. There’s so many of those “small tasks” that fill up my days as a mom – unglamorous, diaper changing, counter wiping – small tasks. When I first read this quote I was like, “great and noble?” what could possibly be great and noble about doing the dishes or cleaning the toilet? Perspecitve really is everything isn’t it!? 😉 These little, everyday duties aren’t so great and noble by themselves, but collectively and consistently doing them helps make our home the place it is. Creating a pleasant, safe, loving place for my children to grow –  that IS great and noble and I’m so thankful for this simple reminder that totally changed my attitude this week. 🙂

  10. This is a great quote! Oftentimes as moms, we feel overlooked and under-appreciated, so this is a great reminder that all those little things really do matter.
