I’m so thankful for the family time we had this week!
Photo taken while hiking to a place called Venus Bay, that’s it in the background.
I’m excited to ease back into blogging after a nice week off spending time with my family. We didn’t do anything too exciting – we spent the week sleeping in, going to the beach, hiking, finishing up a few projects around the house & just hanging out. It was so nice to just be together with no schedule, no real commitments. Randal’s been so busy with school lately &
this time with him was so needed. 🙂
What simple things are you thankful for this week?
Just take a photo of a simple thing or a simple moment that made you smile during the week and come share it with us each Sunday! You can find all the details about the challenge here.
Just a few quick rules to play:
1. Grab the button below and include it in your simple things post.
2. Link back directly to your simple things post not your blog/website.
(No links to other linky parties, giveaways or craft projects pretty please. This linky is all about the photos.)
3. Be sure to pop by and visit a few of the other blogs & leave a comment.
Everyone loves getting comments so leave as many as you can.
🙂
I can’t wait to see your photos!

Hi Rebecca, just wanted to stop by and say “hi” and let you know how much I enjoy your blog! I have been following you for about a year and a half and I check your site everyday. Your pictures are beautiful and inspiring and I love all the helpful posts on crafting ideas, as well. I don’t blog or facebook, so I am unable to participate in “The Simple Things”, but i still enjoy looking at all the different photos that come in and visiting some of the blogs they are attached to.
While looking at the photo you posted in today’s post, I was reminded once again how brave you (and your husband) are to take four kiddos and move to a brand new place far away from everything you know. What an amazing experience for you and your children (and what a beautiful place to be if you have to do it!:)! Thank you for sharing your journey and all of your amazing, amazing pictures of it!
Have a great day! Lisa McCracken
