There’s nothing quote like the wonder of a child at Christmas time. Our sweet 6 year old Addie is soaking up all the excitement and magic of the season and it is pure joy to watch her. She wrote a darling letter to Santa this week. Her number one wish is for a pair of ‘kowgrl boots’ and I can’t wait to see her surprise when she opens them Christmas morning! Experiencing the simplest of joys with my kids during this Christmas season is so special and I’m grateful for the way they encourage me to slow down and enjoy the magic right along with them.
“If we could all see the world through the eyes of a child, we would see the magic in everything.”

Such a lovely blog you have! So happy to find you through another blog friend who links up here on Sunday. My kids are 26 and 23…and brought years and years of that magic to Christmas! We still find that magic place when we’re all back together again for the holiday. This year they both want a big lego project that they can work on together on Christmas – I can’t wait to watch that on Christmas day!

She’s already 6 years old! I remember writing to Santa myself – having the tickling feeling in my stomach — precious memories! Wishing you and your family a lovely Christmas time, Rebecca!

Yes! So I love that she wrote a letter to Santa. I teach first grade and am always so sad to see so many of them move beyond their imagination and give up believing in Santa.
