One thing I do that makes it much less scary to commit that ink to paper, is write my journaling with pencil first. I can get things centred and correct any mistakes I need to and then go over the pencil afterwards with my favorite pen. All I have to do is erase the pencil marks after the ink is dry.
Supplies used for this page: Photo Pocket Pages Design A | Yellow polkadot card from the Neutral Baby Edition Core Kit. I simply created the little title block in PS, cut it out + placed over the baby themed title that was on the preprinted card.

Looks great! You have beautiful handwriting! I think it is important to use handwriting because our kids need to remember things like that too. I say that now, but it took a while for me to get over myself and start writing in my scrapbooks too. 🙂

Gorgeous PL page! You know they sell really cool Japanese pens online that you can erase if you make a mistake. It’s nothing like our erasable pens. Way better and they have tons of different colors. Thanks for the inspiration!

I can’t believe you’re scared to put your writing on your pages – your handwriting is gorgeous! It’s the first thing that caught my eye when I saw this post on Blog Lovin’.

I have been scared of my handwriting on my scrapbooking layouts for years.
I have started Project Life this year for the first time and have realised that my style of handwriting isn’t as important as the content of the writing and the photos.
I wish that I had some handwriting of my grandparents. Hence why I am doing it for my children.
I am still uneasy with it, but it’s there for my kids.
Thanks for helping others with the realisation of what IS important.
