I think we should celebrate. Start the party early. Forget about Mothers DAY, how about mother’s WEEKEND???? Hmmmmm?? Sound like an idea?

And what would mothers day be without chocolate? I, Rebecca Cooper, firmly believe that every Mother deserves chocolate on Mother’s day! (Think Randal heard that?) So, for my non-Canadian readers out there, if you haven’t ever tried one of these:
you MUST! Now, if you aren’t a mint chocolate fan, you won’t like them. But these – mmmmmm yum – are my absolute favorite chocolate bars! I usually keep at least one in the pantry at all times…in case any chocolate emergencies should arise and I need to have one – quick like.
And if you’ve got a little chocolate to enjoy I think that you MUST have a fabulous scrapbooking book to sit down with too.
Scrapbooking. Chocolate. They just go together. Right? Like chocolate and milk. Chocolate and almonds. Chocolate and icecream. Chocolate and….(insert pretty much anything!) So you’re sitting down, savoring a delicious peice of Canadian chocolate, flipping through an equally delicious scrapping book. Sound like a nice Mother’s day treat?
Well, post below and sunday night I’ll draw a name and Happy Mother’s to the lucky winner!!
The only rules are these:
You must be a mother. You must be a soon to be mother. A grandmother. A great-grandmother. The daughter of a mother. The sister to a mother. The friend of so and so, who’s Aunt know’s what’s her bucket from highschool, who’s sister married what’s his name and who is also – the daughter of a mother.
Ok.
So post away – all you Canadians too! Because….one can NEVER have too much chocolate I always say!

Thanks to all of you for your encouraging potty training posts the other day! Really helped to know we’re not alone in the fight against wet beds. We’ve got pullups now. Life is good. My washer is taking a break. 🙂

mmmmm mint chocolate! I am posting! new reader…very inspired by your photgraphy and scrapbook pages. hersheys had a mint out for a while..or was that a cookies n mint? either way it was yummy! This is my second time celebrating mothers day…my daughter is one…last time she was only 10 days old.

i am another one of Kristi’s sisters. I had roommates at BYUI that would request mint aeros everytime I went back to Canada. LOVE THEM! (p.s. incase you didn’t notice- I posted a FABULOUS double chocolate banana muffin recipe on your post about muffins. You gotta try them! They were the number 2 request of my roommates! I also love the pictures of the Livingstones. So cute!
I just might have to move to Canada now.

Just curious, how do you get your pictures to look so bright and washed out? Is it something specific that your camera does or do you manipulate the pictures with Photoshop. They are always so beautiful. Thanks for your help.

i wish we had those here in michigan, they sound great. i guess i’ll just stick to my hot chocolate with a drop of peppermint extract in it. yummm….
