How hard do you think it would be to find someone that could make a little girls dress for me like this one except in white.
Emily (my oldest) is getting baptized the end of August just before we move and I’ve been searching for a white dress for her but haven’t been able to find something I love.
I CAN sew if I really want to (and I’m not moving halfway accross the world in a couple of months) but I simply don’t have the time and I just love this dress. Is it at all possible without a pattern to get one made like it?
Anyone know of any trusted etsy sellers or a friend who could hook me up?

Hi there! I love your blog! There are 2 sewing patterns that I know of that are very similar to that one that I think would be easy to add to or alter.
Oliver+s has a playdate dress pattern that has the same type of shape and Simplicity #2711 is ver close as well! I would be totally willing to sew one up for you if you like those patterns.

I feel your pain! Looked all over for a cute, simple white dress for my daughter’s baptism. She just turned 8. Finally found one at Gymboree that she loves, but had to have it mailed form Utah to Vegas. Good luck! If you have any ideas for the gathering afterwards I would love to hear them.
