Next to scrapbooking, photography is probably my next greatest love. I just can’t get over the thrill I get when I am able to capture that perfect shot. The one that almost takes my breath away. Those ones that make me stop and stare. Maybe get a little teary.
I get all goose-bumpy when I capture these little treasures.
Tender moments between mother and baby. The bond between brother and sister. New love. The joy of family. The laughter of a child. Precious moments that are far too fleeting.
There are so many times in my life and especially in the lives of my children, that I wish I could just freeze time. If only for a moment. Hold that little hand in mine for one more day. Snuggle that tiny baby in my arms just one more time. Rock that baby boy to sleep.
Just once more.
I think this is what I love so much about taking photographs. With my camera in hand I feel like I can almost stop time. For the tiniest second. Catch that emotion, that moment, that feeling…
and then hold it in my hand.
See it.
Remember it.
Treasure it forever.
This makes me feel a little nervous putting myself out here, but I have decided to take my passion for photos just one step further and start taking photos for others. SO, if you are in the Southern Alberta area and are interested in booking a session with me I’d love to hear from you. I would definately be willing to travel if there was enough interest. I will be offering portfolio building sessions for a limited time. Session fees and print prices will be available at discounted prices during this time. Rebecca. I am still so in love!!1 with the photos you took of us in Feb. We will be down last week of June-first week of July. Could we try and book something.
