Just a few pictures from our December so far.
To sum up December we….
-have been making treats
-eating treats
-going to Christmas concerts
-making a few holiday cards thanks to Becky Higgins kit of the month. The kids LOVED helping me make them and I loved how simple they were to put together.
-decorating the tree and the house
-have been burning that Salt City Apple Cider candle and it makes our house smell so yummy
-had Addie blessed at church on the 9th and had our families over (40 of us in total) for lunch afterwards
-have been wrapping presents
-having lots of fun with our little advent calender
It’s hard to believe that Christmas day is almost here. It definately became more of a reality when Randal and I set out on friday to start AND finish our Christmas shopping. I still have a few little things to pick up but for the most part we’re ready to go. Now we’re just getting ready to host Christmas day/dinner at our house for my family. I sure wish we had cabinets and countertops. Sigh. Here’s what our kitchen is looking like right now:
Still lots to be done but I’ve got a kitchen sink and a dishwasher so I’m happy. Anything beats washing the dishes in the bathtub!
