My One Word Goal for 2015 – Today

Thursday, January 29, 2015

today7

A special thank you to Charmed Collections for the beautiful necklace featuring my word for 2015!

I love choosing a word to center my thoughts, goals and hopes around for the year ahead. This year I chose the word “Today” for a lot of reasons that can be summed up with this beautiful quote:

“You will never have this day with your children again.  Tomorrow, they’ll be a little older than they were today.  This day is a gift.  Breathe & notice.  Smell & touch them; study their faces & little feet & pay attention.  Relish the charms of the present. Enjoy today. It will be over before you know it.” – Jen Hatmaker

Join me over on the Snap Creativity blog today as I share a little more about my special word! I’m sharing a free printable version of the quote above so head over there to download it and below you’ll find an entire collection of quotes that are inspiring me to focus on “TODAY” in 2015!

I hope you enjoy these quotes as much as I do! Here’s a closer look at the quotes and printables. I plan to print them out and hang them up around my home as a visual reminder to slow down and focus on the daily blessings that surround me. Of course I’m also going to print them out and add them to my favorite quotes mini album!

Just wondering if the word “appear” in the Hinckley quote should be “appears”? I LOVE your printables and use them all the time! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful talents with us!

I love the idea of choosing a word to center yourself around for the year. I have to admit this could be a great inspiration for me as I work through struggles that will affect me for the rest of my life. Thank you for sharing, now to find my word! Hi Rebecca,
Thanks for sharing about the idea of One Word and what it means for you. I wrote about One Word this year and shared your link as well. I thought you might stop by, read and leave a comment. If you also selected One Word this year I’d love for you to share it.
    Warmly,
